About
Burslem Port Project is a partnership between the Trent & Mersey Canal Society and Inland Waterways Association (Stoke-on-Trent Branch.) We greatfully acknowledge the ongoing assistance given to the project by British Waterways, RENEW North Staffs, Stoke-on-Trent City Council including Development and Planning, North Staffordshire Regeneration Zone and the Burslem Regeneration Company; and Christopher Taylor Design, who played a very important voluntary role in our committee by helping us develop professional quality plans. We were actively supported at the beginning by our very active Patron, Joan Walley MP, who has continued to support us throughout the whole process. We owe her a great debt of gratitude.
